 Rogues' Gallery
A new comedy from Black Liver

Ready to tour Autumn 2026

Step inside Rogues’ Gallery — where the forgotten women of art history finally get to speak, sing and take the spotlight.
In this brand-new comedy from award-winning company Black Liver (BBC Radio 4 Sitcom Award winners), two performers bring to life a whirlwind exhibition of stories, sketches, songs and spoken word. Set in a contemporary gallery, the show uncovers the rebellious, remarkable and often ridiculous tales of female artists and muses who fought the system.

A funny and fiercely feminist two-hander, Rogues' Gallery blends laughter and learning with a splash of paint, a dash of poetry, and a soundtrack that sings with protest and celebration.

Plus competition in the interval (with prizes!)

A full evening of entertainment, music, laughter and a dash of mischief.

Target audience: It would be great if we could link up with some local community art groups ahead of the show to use their art as part of the set and also get a feel of each venue.
Rogues’ Gallery is designed for adults and families (10+) who enjoy clever, character-driven comedy with heart. It will appeal to audiences who love the wit of Victoria Wood, the playful darkness of Roald Dahl with a little bit of history thrown in.
